Where restoration is not possible, the Housing Authority makes every effort to enhance the neighborhood through new construction. An older and much deteriorated single-family house was torn down to make room for this beautiful tri-plex. Its architecture is a thoughtful blend of modern and Spanish elements that incorporate Santa Barbara’s classic red-tiled roofing and French doors.
