1. Section 8 Project Based Voucher Program-RFP
Posting Date: 7/02/2018

The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara (HACSB) is accepting applications for the Section 8 Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Program for existing housing units designated for serving elderly persons (62 years of age or older) with enhanced supportive services. Rental subsidies for units assisted under this program can be provided for a term of up to 20 years, subject to the availability of appropriations and future availability of funding under HACSB’s Annual Contributions Contract with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HACSB anticipates that approximately 125 Project-Based vouchers will be awarded to owners of rental units within the Santa Barbara City limits which HACSB determines to be most appropriate for this type of assistance.

2. Building and Site Rehabilitation
Posting Date: 6/06/2018

The Housing Authority will receive sealed bids until 3:00 pm. on the 28th day of June 2018 for the proposed work at the Housing Authority’s Property and Development office located at 702 Laguna Street, Santa Barbara California, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. For bids to be considered, responsible contractors must attend a mandatory job walk at 9:00 am. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the job site at 2904 State Street, in Santa Barbara.

3. Request for Proposal (RFP) for Supportive Services Program
Posting Date: 3/22/2018

The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara (HACSB) is soliciting applications for a Request for Proposal (RFP) for its Supportive Services Program, a full-service clinical case management program. HACSB is seeking to collaborate with a local social service organization that specializes in providing the following services to our clientele: case management; behavioral health services; and health care navigation services, for individuals and families being served by HACSB. Services will be provided to a variety of low-income individuals and families, including monolingual Spanish-speaking clients. Qualified organizations are encouraged to submit proposals that reflect their capacity to provide the scope of services outlined in the RFP.
