Housing Programs Representative
HACSB has an excellent opportunity available for a full-time Housing Programs Representative in our Housing Management Department. We are seeking a compassionate and friendly individual that enjoys helping others to join our respected team of professionals. Independently performs a wide variety of technical, eligibility and case management duties involved in operating the Housing Authority’s Section 8, owned housing and Low Income Housing Tax Credit programs including; conducting eligibility interviews; determining eligibility and rent; conducting group and individual Section 8 briefings, and explaining housing programs and their requirements to applicants, residents, and property owners and managers. Incumbents in this position will be responsible for handling a substantial caseload and performing a variety of additional duties as assigned in support of the agency’s goals and objectives.

Internship Opportunities
The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara helps low-income Santa Barbara residents achieve self-sufficiency by providing employment and job opportunities through its Intern Training Program. For consideration for an internship, individuals must meet one of the following Section 3 criteria:
- Participate in Housing Authority, housing assistance programs; or
- Be a low-income resident of Santa Barbara
