The Housing Authority is accepting applications for a Workforce Housing one-bedroom unit. Applicants must be gainfully employed within the Downtown Santa Barbara boundary and meet income criteria to qualify. A brief income inquiry will be made to determine qualified applicants.

-Rent: $1,716 per month
-Security Deposit: $1,716
-Tenant pays Gas and Electricity
-Minimum 1 person/Maximum 3
-No smoking allowed
-One pet considered with additional pet deposit
-Parking is $50, property includes parking / vehicle ownership restrictions
-No elevator, unit is on the second floor and includes stairs to a loft

Applications will be ranked according to date and time received and preferences.

Applicants who do not own and do not have use of a vehicle will receive a preference

Applicants must work in the restricted downtown workforce boundary (see below)

Once unit is filled all applications received will be cancelled

**Resident: I/we live, work, or have been hired to work within the South Coast region of Santa Barbara County.
**Unassisted: I/my household is not currently receiving ongoing rental assistance from the Housing Authority or any other agency.
**US Legal Family Member: I or at least one member of my household is a legal resident of the United States.
**Downtown Worker: I and all members of my household are gainfully employed within the downtown boundary of Santa Barbara (see above link for downtown boundary map)
**0 Vehicles: I and all members of my household do not own or operate any vehicles.

Income Qualification:
Applicants must demonstrate a rent to income ratio of no more than 50%. Applicants must have income below 80% of the Area Median Income.

80% AMI Income limit:

1 person: $102,000
2 persons: $116,600
3 persons: $131,150
