The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara is now accepting applications for the following Non-HUD Senior unit. Applicants must meet income criteria to qualify and be at least 62 years old.

-Rent: $1,900 per month
-Security Deposit: $1,900
-Landlord pays water, sewer, and trash. Tenant is responsible for gas and electricity
-Unit includes washer/dryer hookups.
-Unit is a townhouse and includes stairs
-Street parking only
-Minimum 1 person/Maximum 2.
-No smoking allowed.
-One pet considered with additional pet deposit.

Applications will be ranked according to date and time received and preferences. Once unit is filled all applications received will be cancelled

PREFERENCES:
**Resident: I/we live, work, or have been hired to work within the South Coast region of Santa Barbara County.
**Unassisted: I/my household is not currently receiving ongoing rental assistance from the Housing Authority or any other agency.
**US Legal Family Member: I, or at least one member of my household, is a legal resident of the United States.

**Veteran: I, or a member of my household, is a Veteran or active member of the US Armed Forces, or a spouse or surviving spouse of a Veteran.
** Working Family - At least one adult household member is gainfully employed
**Senior: Confirm that you are 62 years old or older

Income Qualification:
Applicants must demonstrate a rent to income ratio of no more than 50%. Applicants must have income below 120% Area Median Income.

1 person: $122,920
2 persons: $140,480
