Monteria Village, a 28 family development located on the Westside of Santa Barbara, is a former HUD-assisted
public housing development built in 1973.

Through HUD’s Rental Assistance  Demonstration program (RAD), the Housing Authority successfully repositioned its entire HUD-assisted public housing inventory, including Monteria Village, in order to tap into equity for rehabilitation and improvements, which will provide the future funding for a “new” Monteria Village.
